It is late 2020 so we can not give you a list of restaurants to dine in right now, but what we can give you is a magnificent list of upscale spots that are now offering take-out.
Yes, you read that right. COVID has pushed some of the trendiest restaurants in town to offer take out options.
From amazing Italian food in the Arts District to high-end sushi and French culinary classic dishes offered by the luxurious Perch many of the restaurants known so much for their ambiance are offering up their food for us to enjoy at home.
If you miss a little more upscale dining from some or all of these amazing restaurants many are now offering take-out menus so you can get your fix during the lockdowns.
Take a break from the usual burger fast food joint and spoil yourself to a delicious French dish, or bring home some of the best pizza in LA.
1 – Perch
Description:
Have you ever had a Summer evening enjoying a meal on this amazing rooftop? Well, while we cannot have a drink at the bar enjoying those incredible city views right now, we can still taste their amazing dishes with pickup options to enjoy at home.
You can get food at Perch for take out, or you can also get delivery through Postmates.
Put your vodka in the fridge while you pick up a mouth-watering filet mignon au Poivre, and don’t forget the bread pudding.
Shake that vodka with some ice, and tonic water, add some lemon wedges for your glass, and have a delicious dinner in the comfort of your own home.
If you close your eyes you can almost picture Summer 2021 with you once again on the magnificent rooftop of Perch.

2 – Mrs. Fish
Description:
Sushi anybody? We really miss the next level experience of dining at Mrs. Fish with its funky but high-end restaurant that’s perfect for a night of cocktails and high-quality sushi.
But thank goodness Mrs. Fish has adjusted and is ready to get us their delicious food without us having to visit. From convenient bento boxes to bottled ready-to-go mixed cocktails it’s the next best thing to being there.
Their amazing menu offers Bento boxes with nigiri, salad, and edamame, and more. You can also get delicious Japanese fried chicken with spicy mustard slaw!

3 – Bavel DTLA
Description:
Bavel DTLA is one of our most recommended restaurants, because of the innovation and creativity of chefs Ori Menashe and Genevieve Gergis. Their amazing creations continue to delight Angelenos even during these times where we cannot enjoy them inside their restaurant.
Bavel has been satisfying our city for quite some time with its tasty diverse flavors inspired by Israel, Morocco, Turkey, and Egypt.
Their temporarily fixed menus for take out or delivery only is available on their website.
One of the cool things about this takeout option is the experience changes every week with a different curated handpicked menu. They also offer bottled cocktails for two, enjoy!

4 – The Oyster Gourmet
Description:
Ok, so oysters are probably not the first dish that comes to mind when you think of takeout. In fact at the Oyster Gourmet in Grand Central Market, one of the best things about the experience is the surroundings and the vibe.
If you used to love to go to Grand Central Market to enjoy some oysters at the Oyster Gourmet pre-2020 they do still have an option for you. Now until things get back to normal with indoor dining you can pick up your oyster platter to go!
The Oyster Gourmet at Grand Central Market is offering OYTOGO, a platter of oysters to go. This original idea is meant to hold for few hours freshly shucked oysters on a bed of ice.
Simply place an order 24 hours in advance through their website from Wednesday through Sunday.

5 – Bestia
Description:
We certainly miss the days where we could gather at this massive industrial warehouse in the Arts District, and enjoy some of the best pizza in the city with our crew.
This seasonal multi-regional Italian restaurant is also known for serving pasta at its best and a great overall dining experience. But all is not lost with the lockdown as they are now offering us a delicious take out menu that will bring happiness to your tastebuds even if you cannot enjoy it on-site for now.
You still get the amazing flavors like no other local Italian restaurant and they pack it all for you in a take-out menu, that features their house-made ricotta, lamb ragu, Osso Buco Alla Milanese, and much more.
The at-home family-style take-out dishes are meant to be shared and the menus are available every week from Wednesday through Sunday.
This menu changes every week so be sure to keep checking back!
