2 – Cha Cha Cha DTLA

La Cha Cha Cha DTLA

Description:

La Cha Cha Cha, which opened in 2021, has somehow found a way to stand out even in the ultra competitive Arts District, home to some of our cities best new eateries! This gorgeous new place comes to us from Mexico, as the sister restaurant to Terraza Cha Cha Chá  one of the most popular restaurants in Mexico City.

The LA version gives us a gorgeous outdoor lush patio on a rooftop space in the Arts District that has local guests and critics gushing.

Its not all just the vibes and décor though as you can find a delicious menu of classic Mexican dishes that will have your other half ready to say “I do” before the dessert menu comes.  The food is outstanding with an elevated take on Mexican classic dishes.

Some of our favorites include:

  • Terraza Tostada (tuna with chile morita aioli on the bottom and crispy cilantro on top on a taco shell).
  • Hongos Tacos (maitake mushrooms and salsa de aguacate).
  • Steak Pa’Taquear (grilled medium rare NY strip steak, charred tomatoes and nopales, red wine salsa, and perfectly prepared blue colored corn tortillas).

If you want to impress your date with a casual but classy spot with great food and great vibes then La Cha Cha Cha should be a must on your love list.

3 – Geoffrey’s Malibu

Geoffreys Malibu

Description:

When LA love birds want vacation vibes without getting on a plane, Malibu is easily one of the best choices as most beautiful for a romantic dinner. While there are many gorgeous restaurants in Malibu, with striking views of  the California coastline, we have always been fans of Geoffrey’s as a standout among romantic date spots.

Its not just the magnificent views of the Pacific Ocean and cliffs that ups the romance vibes, as the décor is also complemented by waterfalls and tropical plants. This helps create a romantic Mediterranean meets Malibu atmosphere to enjoy your dinner, drinks and company.

The hardest decision might just be what time to make your reservations at this marvelous restaurant.  With brunch you get clear look at the ocean that will make your meal a very romantic one, but if you prefer coming at night the flower filled patio will make your candlelight dinner a beautiful experience as well.

So what’s on the menu? The brunch menu includes shitake mushroom omelet, challah French toast, crab cakes.  Dinner menu will delight couple’s appetite with choices that include Maine lobster risotto or Prime Wagyu New York steak.

Have a lovely time and enjoy those views!
