One of the best things to do in LA is eating outdoors enjoying the beautiful weather in one of the many restaurants we have with patio seating. This is especially useful with the social distancing of 2020 on everyone’s minds.

You will be in heaven as the sun shines brightly and the cool breeze blows while you sip a delicious cocktail or enjoy a tasty bite and take in a spectacular view.

Here is our list of the most highly recommended patio spots in your beloved city of LA, come with friends or that special someone and have a happy time spoiling yourself in the outdoors.

 


1 – Perch

Perch DTLA

Description:

This is a beautiful French-inspired restaurant located on the 15th floor of the Pershing Square Building.

A special place to bring that special someone for a delicious and romantic patio dinner or just cocktails with beautiful views.

Perch gives us remarkable views from the 15 and 16th floors of the Downtown LA skyline.  Views and vibes are plenty whether you choose indoor or outdoor seating.

Perch includes outdoor fire pits and fireplaces, bar, and lounge areas.

They have a happy hour during the week from 4-6 pm.

Also, the weekend brunch from 10 to 4 pm, and dinner from 5 to 11 pm.

 

 


2 – Yamashiro

Yamashiro LA

Description:

A one of a kind gorgeous space, this restaurant is more than a patio dining experience.  It’s a magical and fun spot located in the hills of Hollywood.

Yamashiro is a Japanese restaurant that provides California-Asian cuisine. It has a fascinating ‘only in LA ‘ history dating back to 1911 when the Bernheimer brothers originally constructed the hilltop mansion to keep their priceless treasures from Asia.

Today it stands as one of the most beautiful and unique restaurants in the world with its amazing atmosphere of a courtyard, gardens, a pond, and spectacular views from Hollywood to the Pacific Ocean.

Yamashiro is spectacular enough but it really goes next level with their Night Market. On Thursday nights during some summer months, the incredible Mountain Palace transforms into an outdoor night market where Hollywood comes to shop, dine, dance, and enjoy the magic of Yamashiro.

 


3 – DAMA

DAMA Fashion District

Description:

For those like me, who enjoy a good Latin bite with an upscale vibe, we added DAMA to this list.  This is a very beautiful restaurant located in the Fashion District.

It has a tropical decor, amazing food menu, and cocktails.

Although DAMA doesn’t offer striking rooftop views like others on this list, it has a very inviting patio where you can enjoy a fun time with your friends or family.

DAMA is open Monday through Saturday starting at 5 pm. and Sunday from 11 to 10 pm.

DAMA is very popular for dinner and cocktails but we have a suggestion for you. Make sure you try their Sunday brunch spread! Its an inspired and unique spread of Latin influence and traditional classics mixed.

 


4 – Alta Adams

Alta West Adams

Description:

Soul food? Yes, please! Located in the historic West Adams neighborhood, this restaurant offers delicious Southern food with unique cocktails that will make your belly very happy.

It has a very large patio area where you can spend fun times enjoying flavors and dishes inspired by West African and California soul food.

There are so many delicious foods on the menu at Alta but some are going to be unique and stuff you have never heard of.

So its time to put the adventure hat on because trust us, even the ones that sound out there are delicious!

We highly recommend the Oxtails and rice! One of the best versions of this dish you will find anywhere in Los Angeles for sure.

 

 


5 – Cliff’s Edge

Cliffs Edge

Description:

If you want to take someone out to a meal and really blow them away it’s hard to beat this beauty in Silver Lake.

Cliffs Edge is not only one of the most Instagrammed eateries in Los Angeles it also offers you a menu that is fresh and varies according to season and availability of fresh ingredients with taste bud popping flavors.

The gorgeous patio is a terrace garden with lush plants and a magnificent tree, which gives it a distinct look and one of the prettiest outdoor restaurant patios you can find.

Open for dinner 6-11 pm and weekend brunch from 10 a.m to 2:30 p.m
