We are constantly looking for the best accounts to follow on Instagram for foodies. With so many classic spots to remember and new spots to discover you have to keep your finger on the pulse of the restaurant scene in Los Angeles if you love food.
Back in 2020 we shared our favorite LA foodie accounts on Instagram. But things change and more awesome content creators keep popping up. So we checked the accounts we have been following most the past year for LA restaurant updates and we have them here for you!
We have been updating it every year since and now its updated for 2023.
1 – Mr. Biggs Menu

Mr. Biggs stays on our list for 2023!
If you’re a foodie in LA, you don’t want to miss out on Mr. Biggs’ food adventures! He covers it all but really the best when it comes to Mexican, Hispanic, and Latino cuisine, and he knows how to find those hidden gems that only locals know about.
Mr. Biggs is the go-to guy for discovering those amazing ‘hole in the wall’ spots that are often overlooked by others. With his top-notch videos and expert recommendations, he’s the ultimate authority on where to go for Taco Tuesday in LA.

2 – Eater LA
Description:
While they are new to our list Eater LA is an OG for Instagram foodie recommendations having created their account way back in 2013. They mostly serve as a food and restaurant guide that provides coverage of the LA food scene, including restaurant news, reviews, and recommendations.
They also showcase the latest food trends and give insights into the local food culture. Following Eater LA is a must for anyone who wants to stay on top of what’s new and exciting in the LA food scene.
Because of the awesome recommendations and being the number one account on this list to get new restaurant news we are putting EaterLA as an LA Foodie account must follow for 2023.

3 – HangryBlogger
Description:
There are lots of great SoCal foodie accounts but if you’re looking for one that does a great job covering both LA and the OC than look no further than the Hangry Blogger.
Richard has some of the best close up video’s and reels of food being prepared and being eaten that we have seen. He also does some of the best collaborations we have seen with other local foodies often giving you a two for one bonus with his content.
Because of the high quality videos and reels and being the number one person on this list we would love to do a foodie collaboration with we are choosing the HangryBlogger as an LA Foodie account must follow for 2023.

4 – RainaisCrazy
Description:
If you’re wondering about the name it will all become clear after checking out some of her videos. This foodie can eat and clearly loves what she does. She frequently enters (and dominates) food eating competitions.
She has conquered so many local restaurant eating challenges it has to be some kind of LA record! But its not just about her crushing eating competitions as she also shares some of the best dishes in Southern California with her followers.

5 – Andythenguyen
Description:
Ok Andy Nguyen is not a typical LA foodie account he is an actual foodie entrepreneur. Just check out this list of iconic LA/OC foodie spots he is a partner in; After’s Ice Cream, Matte Black Coffee, Rodeo39 Food Hall, Portside Fish Co, Dough and Arrow, BanhXeo Boys, Trill Burgers.. and this list goes on.
If you know any of those spots you will recognize some similar traits of good food, great presentation and incredible experience! And according to Andy he is just getting started with even bigger plans in the works for 2022! If you want to see the latest trends in local foodie culture from a cutting edge entrepreneur you want to follow Andy.

Description:
Food With Bros has more of a focus on the OC but does some eateries in LA as well. There are so many Instaworthy places to eat that continue to pop up in Orange County that you will want to follow this account closely if you’re willing to make the drive.
Throw on your fat kid sweats and toss those diet goals out the window because on this account you will find some of the most decadent dishes and desserts available. They do a great job with their videos making you feel the FOMO and you might have to stop yourself from licking the screen.
Because they have some of the best suggestions for OC eats and being the number one account on this list we would spend our cheat day with we are choosing FoodBros as an OC/LA Foodie account must follow for 2023.

7 – Food Beast
Description:
Ok we are relaxing the rules a bit for this one since Foodbeast is not necessarily LA or even California specific. But its one of the largest multimedia food and beverage platforms that provides engaging content related to the food industry. Their Instagram account has over 1 million followers and features drool-worthy food photos and videos, as well as breaking news and trending topics. Following Foodbeast is a great way to discover new food trends and get inspired to try something new.
Because of its mainstream reach and high production value we have FoodBeast as an LA Foodie account must follow for 2023.

Description:
Ok Obie Eats is an account we just started following in 2023 so we had to add it to our list for its engaging and informative content about the culinary scene in Los Angeles. Obie, the creator behind the account, provides insightful reviews and recommendations for a diverse range of food establishments across the city, from trendy hotspots to hidden gems. He also showcases his passion for food through his high quality food photography and captivating videos, giving viewers a glimpse into his dining experiences.

9 – The Savory Style
Description:
If the special person in your life has to be a foodie for the relationship to work you will want to get some inspiration from this account. Pam & Allan run the Savory Style account and they are for sure “foodie couple” goals. These 2 explore the best eating spots all over LA and the OC and do it together.
You will for sure get some great foodie date night ideas from the Savory Style and if you’re partner isn’t as big foodie as you are, following this account may help convince them to join you on more of your eating adventures.
Because they show us great places to eat as couples and being the number one account on this list we would want to go on a double date with, we are choosing The Savory Style as an LA Foodie account must follow for 2023.
