SPECIAL NOTE: After this article writing there were reports that some 4th of July public celebrations may be canceled due to federal ICE raids. Please check for most recent news and updates before attending any public July 4th celebration.
****
Celebrate Independence Day this 4th of July at Dodger Stadium as the Los Angeles Dodgers take on the Houston Astros! Take in the excitement of baseball with the best hotdogs, and classic ballpark atmosphere as these two powerhouse teams face off.
Then enjoy the spectacular July 4th fireworks show presented by Budweiser, lighting up the summer sky in a dazzling salute to our country.
Join the Free Fireworks shows across the city! Head to the Gloria Molina Grand Park in Downtown LA for a family-friendly Summer Block Party featuring live music, food trucks, and an eco-friendly drone light show in place of fireworks.
Over in Marina del Rey, catch a dazzling 20-minute fireworks display over the harbor at 9:00 PM, best viewed from Burton Chace Park or Fisherman’s Village. Down the coast in Long Beach, enjoy waterfront fireworks, bring a blanket, arrive early, and enjoy a night of patriotic fun under the Southern California sky!
Lastly, we recommend joining a fun parade to celebrate America’s independence! Santa Monica is set to honor its sesquicentennial (150 years of cityhood) with a vibrant Independence Day parade along Main Street.
The procession kicks off at Pico & Main, travels south on Main, turns onto Marine, and concludes near Barnard Way at the Ocean Park Library grandstand—promising an energetic mix of colorful floats, marching bands, local performers, and artistic flair.
Another great parade is the LAX Coastal (“We Love LA!”) parade, beginning at 11:00 AM at Manchester & Loyola, this 25th annual march continues down Loyola Boulevard to 80th Street, featuring lively music, community groups, and patriotic entries that reflect the area’s spirited unity.
