February in Los Angeles is a special time of year when the city comes alive with a unique blend of cultural events, romantic activities, and exciting experiences for locals and visitors.

If you’re a fan of the arts, then you will enjoy this post because we got the best recommendations just for you.  February is a fantastic time to explore LA’s cultural scene.

But there is more, festivals are happening all over with music and food that caters to a variety of guests. And of course discover where to go for Valentine’s and where to watch the super bowl! We have some great suggestions for February 2025 events in Los Angeles.

1 – Art Shows and Events

Modernism Week Palm Springs

Our creative and culturally diverse city is hosting several awesome art shows this month.  Our first suggestion is the LA Art Show.  From February 19th to 23rd, art enthusiasts, collectors, and curious minds alike will converge at the Los Angeles Convention Center to immerse themselves in a world where imagination knows no bounds.  The opening gala event will benefit the American Heart Association.  You can also purchase general admission and 1 day only tickets.

Our next suggestion is The Other Art Show in Art Water Village from February 21-23.  This great event invites everyone who enjoys a different kind of art, the kind of art you can touch and explore; or as the organizers put it, art that is bizarre, unexpected and never normal.  Atwater Village, with its artsy charm and laid-back vibe, is the perfect setting for this unconventional and fun art fair.

Lastly, enjoy Modernism Week Palm Springs from February 13 – 23.  If you’re a fan of mid-century design, architectural innovation, and retro-chic style, then this event should be on your calendar.  This festival celebrates the mid-century modern aesthetic that defines Palm Springs. From the 1940s to the 1970s, this style flourished in the city, resulting in some of the most iconic homes, commercial buildings, and landscapes in the world.

5 – Celebrate Super Bowl in LA

Verizon Fan Fest 2025

Description:

Looking for a fun place to watch the Super Bowl?  SoFI Stadium is having a very big Super Bowl watch party! There will be NFL local legends appearances, cheerleader performances, live music, food trucks, local vendors and more.  Visit Verizon Fan Fest for tickets to this great party https://verizonfanfest.com/public/LosAngeles

Of course there are plenty of bars around town with large screens so you can eat, drink and watch the big game.

Our first suggestion is Cosm, this awesome venue gives you screens so large you feel like you are front row in the actual game. Not only do they have the live immersive experience but they also have multiple floors and 5 bars! If you aren’t lucky enough to snag tickets to the Dome seating there are plenty of big screen televisions elsewhere across the venue.

If your looking for more traditional bars there are plenty of those as well. You have the Prank Bar in DTLA, the Morrison in Atwater Village,  and 33Taps with its 4 locations including the OG in Silver Lake. With their awesome atmospheres and legendary super bowl parties, all of these spots are great choices for super bowl watch parties.

Would you rather stay home and host a watch party with your friends?  Hibachi catering has taken over the country the past few years as a super fun way to host parties. And we have the GOAT of hibachi at home with Let’s Hibachi Los Angeles.

Have them come on Super Bowl Sunday to take care of your pre-game fun, half time break or after the game dinner.  They will come to your house to feed and hype your guests making it a Super Bowl celebration they will never forget.

3 – Botanical Gardens Night Time Experiences

Astra Lumina

Looking for a winter wonderland of lights and nature?  Make a plan this month to visit the LA county Arboretum.  Starting on November 12th, the Los Angeles county Arboretum and Botanic Garden brings back Light Scape which features a multi sensory installation that blends the magic of the holiday season and the serenity of nature.

Expect to be enveloped in tunnels of light, walk among glowing sculptures, and feel enchanted as you wander through tree-lined paths illuminated with vibrant colors. It is one of the first big kickoffs to Holiday Light Season.

4 – Special Museum Exhibits – November

Best in Low

Description:

Our first recommendation for special exhibits in November is the Spider Pavilion at the Natural History Museum.  This one of a kind interactive exhibit offers a rare opportunity to explore the fascinating world of spiders in a safe and beautifully designed outdoor pavilion.  It’s the perfect activity for visitors of all ages! Make sure to catch it before it closes on November 24th.

Our next suggestion for a cant miss exhibit is, Best in Low.  The Petersen Automotive Museum “Best in Low – Icons of the Street” exhibit is a massive must-see display that celebrates the artistry, culture, and craftsmanship of the lowrider community. Displayed in the iconic Mullin Family Grand Salon, this exhibit brings together some of the most mesmerizing and intricately detailed lowriders ever built and reveals the intricate local history of the culture in its birthplace; Los Angeles!

Last but not least, we recommend a visit the Museum Academy of Motion Pictures this month. There is a sensational number of special exhibits including Casa Blanca, Boyz in the Hood, and many more.  This month of November we are particularly excited about The Godfather 1 and 2 exhibits! And of course Toy Story 3D Zoetrope, which was so popular that they decided to bring it back but only until July 2025.

5 – Where to Find the Best Fall Treats

Harriet's Sweet Potato Cheesecake

Description:

With the arrival of November you know we have to share some foodie suggestions. When it comes to LA classics you have to try the classic sweet potato cheesecake at Harriet’s in Inglewood. We can tell you, first hand that it’s a decadent dessert with a soulful twist and it tastes amazing!

Harriet’s Cheesecakes has garnered a reputation for delivering one of the most unforgettable desserts in town. The sweet potato cheesecake combines the rich, creamy texture of classic cheesecake with the sweet, spiced flavor of sweet potato, making it a favorite every Fall season.

For autumn inspired cocktails, there are several tasty spots.  We recommend Pump the Breaks at the Raymond 1886 in Pasadena.  This amazing drink involves graham infused vodka, pumpkin flavor, cream and cinnamon.  Also visit Gracias Madre, they’re featuring their delicious fall menu which includes tasty fall cocktails like Ponche, Gaucho, and Amigo.

Looking for a delicious pumpkin spice latte? Coffee for Sasquatch in Hancock Park is our first choice.  Their delicious drink includes organic pumpkin, espresso and milk, so good!

If you are near Eagle Rock, stop by Muddy Paw and enjoy a spice coffee drink hot or cold, with notes of cardamom, and cinnamon.

Our last but not least recommendation is Be Bright in Melrose.  You should visit them for their Pumpkin Pie Latte, oh yeah baby, it’s just as good as it sounds.  This drink spoils your buds with espresso, pumpkin juice, pumpkin spice, brown sugar, and other delicious notes.
